There has been a recent outbreak of new strain of Private Message scams to hit the Gameamp Network. It can be from any user, but the basic message is that something tragic has happened to the user and they need your help in retrieving funds.
If you receive one of these types of PMs in your box, please notify the closest staffer and include any and all pertinent information, such as username who sent the PM, the contents of the PM, and anything else you might feel they would need to know. In order to make this scam seem more legitimate, the user will include what looks to be their real identity and email address in the body of the message. Please do not be fooled by this tactic.
The staff here at Gameamp wants you to know that this kind of behavior is severely frowned upon and will not be tolerated. We would like to keep this site as friendly and family oriented as possible and need your help in keeping it that way.
The current user sending the PMs....Sussan2008, has already been banned. As for now you don't have to send staff a PM. But if you see a different name please let someone know.

I think I'm just gonna go ahead and sign up because obviously I can trust this person that I've never met before with all my personal information so that she can launder large sums of secretly stashed away money.
I'd like to know that myself. I've got about 15 of those in my regular email account. All slightly diff but hauntingly the same LOL. Just think, If i sign up with all of em i'd get about 15mil. Yay me!
Oh my goodness that poor girl. We need to band together as a community and do something about this. I for one am going to E-Mail this person and help her in any way I can. I don't understand why the rest of you are being so mean. They poisoned her father for heaven's sake!

That type of thing is just mean and I wouldn't understand why someone would go to the trouble of doing something like that. Indeed, I have already sent my E-Mail and am anxiously awaiting a reply. I did this because I am a nice person and want to help people. Especially people who are less fortunate than myself.

I sent this twit to Grif as soon as she sent me the PM. And believe it or not there are still lots of people in the world that fall for this crap. I just don't know how they thought a bunch of tech savvy people like us would ever fall for it, and thats no sarcasm. Generally people that post on any forum are a little more experienced, internet-wise, than that. Guess it goes to show how stupid they really are.

Well how would you feel if you were the Kenyan banker who had to mass e-mail a bunch of people because their rich-great-great-uncle-twice-removed died in a horrible plane crash and now has left each and every one of them with almost $15 million? Sheesh, I wouldn't want the responsiblity.
And don't get me starrted on remembering all of those people's PIN numbers and bank account info.
Ok i've researched the information she has given stan. The \"banks\" email is obviuosly french but the only bank found thus far related to SECNATBANK is one in Nabraska. Abidjan Cote d Ivoire is in fact in Africa as well as the home to an american embassy that of which the only other language you can use on their site is french.
The phone number is a landline # for someone in Baton Rouge, LA. avenue 5 lot 172 cocody is so far nonexistant.Then of couse the names have no connection to actual legal gold/coco stocks or export/import buisnesses related thereof.
Of course this information is of no real importance and was likely just pulled out of thier...yeah...
I've been sent several emails by people with those scams, it's all over the place and most often in the most popular of websites. Most of them are based out Nigeria, they will smuggle money and say you're getting 10% and in actuality you end up having to fork out money you don't have. You need to report that to your local police department, homeland security, or call the FBI, immediately report the email as scam, sometimes the police or FBI will have you email them the email that was sent to you. None of those people lost anyone, and sometimes people really do want to help, but they end up getting screwed. It's sad to see that here on game amp.
