About an hour ago I did my usual search for new MMOs and ran into this one. RF online really impressed me with how the game looks. As you all know, games can be decieving. Instead of burning 50 bucks on this game just to find out if if I love it or hate it, I was hoping for a free trial.
The game looks like it just came out of beta, or is still in it. I wouldn't expect a free trial yet.
The question is, do any of you know when the free trial will come out, or if there will ever be one?

Hello mattor, welcome to RF-Online at GameAmp.
It does indeed look very cool, and it is cool game. It is quite different in the sense that leveling goes very fast. You can get to level 30 in a week (it goes up to 50), but that is not the main thing of the game. It actually only starts after that. Maybe some of the high level folks can elaborate on that.
The game has been around for a while in Asia, but only recently got released in Europe and the States. As far as I know there is no trial version. But you should be able to find it for less than $50. Here in the UK it is everywhere on sale for 16 GBP (less then $30).

Fast leveling, good pvp?
But heres the question, how popular is the game, how many players on each server, how many servers have been created, how strong is the community, can you build cities, can you take over lands?
I'm still debating on buying the game or not, it's looking good right now, but still a few questions need to be answered:)

PvP is what this game is about as well. No u cannot build cities but the detail in them is breath taking. Yes and No on conquering lands. You can go into an enemy stronghold and slaughter everything in your path and make it so that the race doesnt come there anymore which can cause the RLs or Race Leaders that are kinda like GMs come and take u out. As far as making the town or area officially yours not really. As previously stated the game doesnt start till u hit the 30s so far i hit 24 and by the end of this week i should be 30+. There are 4 or 5 servers and u can have up 2 three in each server. The community is pretty much good. Since we r all kinda newbies u can ask dumb questions that everyone can hear w/o being put down or anything. The economy well we make the economy. The econmy is centered around a mine that is very rich in resourses i believe every 8 hours there is a war between the three races whoever wins the war gets control over the mine. On spirit server Cora (the elf lookin magic race) is dominate winning most chip wars. Bellato (who are dwarves that controll giant mechs or MAUs) are second and Accretia (they are adroids who dont use magic but are walking tanks that can launch rockets and other deadly stuff.

Thank you so much for answering my questions. Judging by what you said, I am sold. Going to buy it tonight and get started. If you have a specific server that your in, I'd love to meet you in game. Thanks again.

I am on spirit which has a big population and has a lot hipe with chip wars.

Well, I sure wouldn't mind givin this game a go round. I think I'll have to wait till either, A) I get tired of all the other games I'm on atm, or B) they let me have a free trial.
Till then, I guess I'll just have to sit this one out. :)

Yes you can useing Xfire. You put someone on your friends list and vola you can send messages to them in game :)

Really? I better set up my account on it then instead of just having it on my desktop. I hope 2 see u guys during a chipwar or u making a wrong turn and ending up in harem stockade.

heh like BP up there thanks to OneS I may be playing this game as well gonna try and get my hands on a copy of the trial....fileplanet sucks.----errr....so greedy. heh and if it turns out as good as it sounds this may be a new addition to my mmo list. how is the lag?

FilePlanet is only trying to become the biggest site on the planet. Can't blame them for setting high goals.
Besides, generally their Free Trials don't require paid subscription to FilePlanet. That's just if you want guaranteed access to Beta's distributed through them and even then you don't have to subscribe, you can take part in the lottery.
This Tiral's Free free anyway. Well, free if you got spam-filtering ;-)

heh I didn't see the free downloads due to a banner in seperating the paid downloads from the free lol but I just finished extracting so I'm about to install...since it seems that the majority of ampers are on spirit I'll be getting on there as well.

I haven't played much but I installed last night and am a cora warrior as well names unklean, I'm on spirit. Was also wondering if all you ampers have formed a guild or whatever for RFO yet?

There isn't one (yet). The requirements for setting up a guild are quite high. I can't find the requirement anymore, it is somewhere in our forums, but if my memory serves me well you need at least 10 lvl 30+ players to start a guild. After that you can invite lower level players. And we don't/didn't have 10 ampers together yet yet on one server, and within one race.
