A new reign begins on the GW Amp site today. A new herald of the Site Manager title has been chosen and his name is Wyat_Hawke.
For those unaware, outstanding staffer/member Kanna recently stepped down as Site Manager for the site. In his departure, a new SM was sought to fill in the void. Kanna will be missed as staffer but I am pretty sure he isn't completely leaving the site. I would like to be one of the first to thank him for his time and effort he placed into the site on a daily basis. Also please give congratulations to Wyat in his new position for the site.
With Wyat taking over as SM, we are considering opening up to take on new staffers. Stay tuned for news on seeking out site assistance. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact Wyat or myself.

Fans and team members alike gathered together recently at the Pitcher and Piano in Birmingham, UK for a day of chatting and news. Over the course of the day, players were greeted by development team members, guys from Alchemic Dream and representatives from Wizards of the Coast for a long day of talking, laughing and drinks.
For the rest of the day, players were able to sit down with team members and ask them all those burning questions that they haven't been able to do otherwise. Yep no more of the little mining rate increases this time! We are getting ready to kick in a new game altogether! Giga 4 PT 2 will add more elements to the game then a rubrics cube has stumped 8 year olds. And to kick it off CM decided to give all the players in the game a chance to get ready with 2X pt and 2X xp. So everyone get that hp fund growing because it lasts till Giga 4 PT 2 is released (I hope).

RF Online has made it known that the official sponsor for their event at the Codemasters Campzone event this week will be Relentless Energy Drink. For those of you who missed the last report on this event or need a refresher, the Codemaster Campzone event is an annual convention of online gamers that has been held every year in Europe since 2001.
MMORPGs from around the world make their way toward this event every year and hold contests, exclusive peeks and competition for their fans. This year the event is being held in the camping grounds of Walibi World, Biddinghuizen from July 21st to July 31st. Kyle 'Laeth' Rowley recently sat down with the website mmo.com to talk about the upcoming game and any new updates that needed to be addressed and revealed. The interview is incredibly short as Kyle only answers about five questions and doesn't really reveal that much new info about the game or the developers behind it, but it's at least worth checking out if for no other reason than to look at the stylish jeans he's wearing. RF Online players rejoice! The first major content update for RF Online has gone live as of today and is ready to be checked out by subscribers for free. This update to content will make the gaming experience that much more fun and exciting for players with it's big list of updates.
Included within this is 24 more Battle Dungeons, Changes to Item upgrade rules, new ammo added, party system upgrade, upgrades and changes for skills and force including new class skills... and I'm not even halfway through the list! This is a massive update that should be automatic for players once they log in but if you don't get upgraded, you can find the patch hosted here. RF Online released this statement onto their site today to announce the opening of their new 'click and buy' system to get gameplay.

That's right folks, you now no longer need a credit card to get in on all the action of RF Online. From June 16th on wards, players can just visit the Click&Buy Website, pay a one time registration fee and then get billed once a month for the plan that they choose. This is a great option for the gamer who does not wish to have his credit card billed once a month.

The RF Online team had a busy weekend and to prove it, two new interviews have been posted onto the main site. The first interview was conducted by ign.com's RPG vault team as they talked to Kyle "Laeth" Rowley and Michael Rowland. In the interview, the two team members give their thoughts on the audience's reaction to the game thus far, their personal thoughts on the game and what the future of RF Online has in store for us. In the second interview, Hook Sun, one of CCR's game designers, talks to Gamespot UK and talks about what is included in the latest game patch to make it's way overseas to the US and Europe.
